Surgery on Wednesday May 15th

Hi Tigerlily, Amanda, Jasmine, Audrey and everyone,
      I went in last Thursday and had a procedure on the "lump"  Surprisingly it did not take too long.   I think the procedure lasted about 40 minutes. 

The surgeon told my daughter he removed a 9 centemeter tissue.  She believes he said it was between the carotid and the jugular.  I think he was somewhat surprised at the size of it.   I won't find out until this coming week whether or not it was parathyroid but I am hoping it is.   So much for the visible lump that I have been worried about for the past 3  and 1/2 years!!

Oh, Nancy, how did I miss this post?!!!! I am so VERY, VERY happy for you!!!!! FINALLY, someone has helped you! All of our prayers have been answered! YAY!!!   

You must be so very relieved and elated! My day has just been made by reading this! Please let us know when you find out exactly what that mass was. Whatever it was, thank GOD it is out of there!
