In case it wasn't noticed, our membership reached 50 this weekend.

That's fantastic Edwin! Thanks to you and Nelly for all your hard work and commitment to making it all work for us. I'm interested to know how people are finding us? I know quite a few have been following us on the old forum and have now been able to transfer over and join us properly, but I'm wondering how our newer members found us as I've googled all connotations of hyperparathyroid/support and our forum doesn't seem to come up.

Well done Edwin & Nelly you two are Stars, I'm so grateful to you both for setting up this forum and running it so brilliantly, despite you both dealing with some very trying times, to say the least, it has been a life line for many of us.

It's great to have such a friendly and constructive community here, especially compared with another health forum that Nelly and I are members of.

50 seems such a small number compared with the old Parathyroid forum, but it is easy to manage and everyone is nice and friendly :-).

Slapped wrist from Mrs Admin for not commenting on your question on how new members are finding the forum.

I assume that most, if not all, are through the old forum.
I have tried informing a few search engines and medical website lists about www.hyperparathyroid.org.uk and hope that, over time, our URL will gradually percolate around the internet.

Google only lists us if you search for hyperparathyroid.org.uk.
We are second on the list if you search for hyperparathyroid on Yahoo.

Wow, 50 members?!!!! This is great news! From time to time I have checked the member list and have been watching it grow, and it is so exciting!! We are all so grateful to you both, Edwin and Nelly, for starting this new forum and giving us all the chance to stay in touch and continue our journeys together.

Yes, I am sure in time, as more and more people discover us, the word of our forum will spread, our member list will grow longer and longer. We have come a long way from just a few members to 50!!!
