Appointments Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh
Mini rant alert
I had an appt come through today for this Friday ( bit short notice !) for vocal cord check (I think) and I have 2 appts next Friday for US and Mibi and another 1 the following Friday for pre op assessment. The journey can be anything upwards of a 3 hour round trip plus god knows how long to park, they know we live a long way from Bristol so why can't they do all of them on the same flipping day

Have a rant, you need too, they should phone us, if it is that short notice. I wonder whether this was a cancellation - might explain things .
best wishes

I had 5 days notice for neck ultrasound. Good job I wasn't away.

Hi Nelly,
How frustrating! I am sure the left hand never knows what the right hand is doing when it comes to appointments. Is it worth ringing to explain and have your pre-op assessment brought forward to the week before?? I know my pre op was just with the nurse and didn't take very long to do, no doctor involved.

Hi sue
Tried that, well left a message but no call back. I was going to ask for this weeks appt to be added to one of the others if poss but I'm not too hopeful. Just a pain having to go all that way for a 10 min appt.
The new hospital is now open and everyone is moving in so i imagine it is chaotic, will find out on Friday.

Yes, these appointments are quite annoying, aren't they? Seems like that's all I do anymore! No, I wouldn't like 2 in 1 day! Wow!
