List of UK surgeons

Post by Jasmine2 on Tue Apr 01, 2014 8:16 am

Hi Mr and Mrs Admin

Would it be useful to transfer across from the old forum the list of experienced UK parathyroid surgeons?  On the Facebook closed group page there is also a list of recommended US endocrine surgeons but you'd need to be a member of that group to access it.

You beat us to it Jasmine  Laughing

We were planning to ask people about useful articles and info that could be copied in to the Reference Section.

I will have to ask Edwin how to do this, he is away in France for the week but will be able to do admin in the evenings.

He has already added the Normogram and unit conversion info so we can have a Surgeon/Consultant list and any other articles that will be useful.

I am on the case  Wink

You're welcome Jasmine and we have to thank all of you lovely folk for making it such a success from day 1.

We hope the forum will be a team effort with everyone chipping in with ideas, suggestions, niggles or whatever, so if you think of anything else just shout and that goes for everyone  Very Happy

Here's how to copy useful stuff to the Reference section:

In our Reference section, create a new post, with the title: List of experienced UK Surgeons, for example.

In the old forum, go to the post that has the list and select the text that you want to bring across.  Select the copy function, for example: on a PC, right-click on the mouse and select copy, or use the keyboard CTRL + C keys).

Then go to the new post in our forum, click in the text area, right-click on the mouse and select paste, or use the keyboard CTRL + V keys.

Voila !

One more point, it needs to be made clear that the list is for information only and is provided in good faith.
The list may not be up-to-date and there are no recommendations associated with it.

(There may be other ways of wording this, but we need to ensure that the forum and/or its members carry no liability for how people use this information)

Little Hadleigh is just too cute! What make is he? Sorry for my ignorance, I'm a standard poodle person (and they grow VERY big too) and we poodle people are a bit blinkered when it comes to other breeds  Embarassed

Hadleigh is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever x Lab and he should be huge but he is about beagle size so probably the runt of the litter, he was a rescue from Ireland and about 6-7 weeks when we got him, he had been dumped at the dog pound ! and we have a Lab x Collie type also a rescue from Ireland and lastly a Yorkie x Shitzu.

We also have 3 cats, 4 guinea Pigs, 1 hamster, chickens and quails, we did have ducks until Mr Foxy paid a visit  Sad

Bit of a zoo here !
