Water in, water out Empty Water in, water out

Post by Tigerlily Wed Jun 18, 2014 7:45 am

Just came across a connection between endocrine/pituitary disorders and a different kind of diabetes called "diabetes insipidus" which causes great thirst and a lot of peeing.

I noticed that a number of forum members were able comfortably (??)  to exceed my own 24 hr/urine output total of 1.48 litres by almost the same amount again.

If you are excreting more than 3 litres a day and drinking a lot of water, it might be an idea to research "diabetes insipidus".
www.patient.co.uk has a good description of it if you put that in the search box top right.

Just a thought on the general endocrine front, as I'm looking at pituitary disease myself as the "next level up" affecting HPT.

Love from Tigerlily xx
