I didn't win the lamps ......!
I've just had an email from Fausto Palazzo - I have tested negative for FHH! I'm so relieved I could cry! Well, I did cry ....! He has confirmed that I do indeed still have pHPT in spite of my low urine calcium and we will now press on with venous sampling and 4D CT to try and locate the rogue adenoma, starting with the 4D CT. He is making the arrangements. I'm not going to get my hopes too high just yet as we first have to locate the adenoma, and FP still may refuse me another surgery if it turns out to be in my neck but hey, at least he's throwing me a lifeline!

Hi Jasmine,
It must be such a relief to have been cleared of the FHH label and I hope it is now full speed ahead to having all the location tests. I am really happy that things are looking more hopeful for you and that you will have the best team at the Hammersmith to get you sorted.

Excellent news, especially that he's still moving forward to get you cured. Onwards & upwards:-)

Wonderful Jasmine, you will have to let me know how the venous sampling goes as I am sure you will be doing that before me. If I do it first I will let you know. I say onward for the cure. Kathi

Thanks everyone! Yes, onwards and upwards! Kathi, I forgot you were also waiting for venous sampling. This wretched disease ..... Grrrrr, can't remember diddly squat ....! Meggy's idea is good about having a profile page for everyone so we can have a reminder of where we're all at in this process. Yes Kathi, we'll swap notes, although I may not get it first as I think I'll be having the 4D CT first and it's highly unlikely they'll be on the same day as my understanding is that venous sampling is a fairly invasive procedure.

I guess it's because I'm using the mobile site: no icons, no profiles and no log in page so I keep having to click onto the main site, log in and change to the mobile site so I can read it:-(
