Hi Everyone
This is a very interesting paper on persistent and recurrent HPT, but before it gets to the case in question it includes a lot of very useful general information on parathyroid disorders.
I found it really informative and easy to read.

Good article.
I read some of it and plan to come back to it when I am locked in by snow.
Thank you, Tigerlily.

Hi Nancy - hope the snow doesn't hit too soon in your area, although the weather reports seem to indicate it.
It has turned much colder here as well - real hat-and-glove weather.
Why not try and have an ultrasound as well as the MIBI, so you have both bases covered. Nothing showed on the MIBI/SPECT scan for me (I fear possible pilot error there), but it well and truly showed up on US.
Take good care of yourself.
