Endo called on the 23rd Empty Endo called on the 23rd

I talked to my endo and he told me he took all my scans and the venous sampling results to every radiologist UCSF has. The top chest radiologist said the MRI does show something but when you overlap it with sestamibi it doesn't quite line up. soooo the Radiologist mention to endo about redoing the MRI with a special contrast to see if it will become clearer. My endo said surgery will be up to me, we can muddle along for awhile but I will need surgery at some point. Which of course I know that. They are suppose to call in the next 2 weeks to schedule the MRI. I am going to ask my pcp for one valium to take for that as I almost pushed the panic button the last time. I am okay with the other scans but the last one shot my anxiety level through the roof. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and hoping the New Year brings us all good health.

Well, Kathi, this is GREAT news! It sounds like you'll be heading for surgery before too much longer! At least they spotted something in there. Wonderful news!

Oh, how cute, I just noticed the little snowflakes floating down the page on here!! How cute! At first I thought my eyes were going crazy! That is really neat! Edwin, did you do that, or did the site automatically do that for us? Very cool!

Anyway, Kathi, I am very happy for you! I don't blame you for not being to excited about another MRI, but if that's what it will take for you to get into surgery, you must do it. The sedative might be a good idea. I don't blame you for wanting to do that either. Those things aren't much fun.

Yes, I had a wonderful Christmas. I hope you did too!! My family gathered here on Christmas Eve. My daughter and granddaughters all had colds. : ( I felt so badly for them, and I was praying I would not catch it! I get so exhausted and run down around Christmas, I usually get sick anyway. Today my throat is hurting. I hope it just magically stops, but I'm thinking it might not. My poor son hit a deer on their way here that night, which totally ruined his evening. He was sick over this. He has a very soft heart just like his mother, so I know how badly he was hurting. My daughter-in-law said the poor deer just appeared out of nowhere, and it was dark, so that made it much harder to see. My son said the deer managed to run off of the road, so we're praying it will heal ok and heal quickly! Everything else went well, and eventually my son started to smile again and try to enjoy the rest of the evening. Yesterday we visited my husband's family and then went to visit my step dad. And now I am TOTALLY wiped out and will probably end up sick!!

Keep us posted on your tests and your progress!

hi Audrey

Yes, I added the snowflakes.
We tried to add some other Christmas decorations, but the good ones would only display on a PC and not our tablets

I had a great Christmas Audrey. My youngest son had to go to work by 2pm so I cooked early and was all done by the time he left, so just sat on my butt on the couch and watched movies all day. Wow I didn't see the snowflake's or the porn site everyone else seen. Kind of feeling left out. Well I did tell my endo that I will stand on my head to get well, and he laughed and said he would like to resolve this also, I think he is tired of me. lol

Have a happy New Year. flower flower flower

Kathi,
So glad things are moving forward.  Also, I don't blame you about the med.  I am not one for a confined space.  I had a sestamibi 3 weeks ago and just hate that machine 1 inch from my face.

Keep us posted.

xxx,  Nancy
