Such good news that you are back in the bosom of the family for the holiday weekend, Edwin!
It would have been no fun in the hospital over a Bank Holiday.

Take it easy and look after yourselves, both you and Nelly.

With Love and Hugs from Tigerlily xx

Thank you all.

It is good to be home and it will be good to get a full night's sleep without being disturbed by the cacophony of my 'companions' in a hospital ward of 6 men.

Over the holiday weekend, I will catch-up with the things that have appeared on the forum while i have been our of action.

I wish everyone a great Easter.

Thank you, Edwin. Happy Easter to you and Nelly too! I do wish you would both just take it easy over the holiday, but I'm guessing you won't.  Wink

Don't worry, I have plenty of experience at doing very little, but now I can to it officially :-)

Hi All

Thank you for your interest.  I did not want to bore you all with a narrative of me trying to do as little as possible.

I am feeling OK, but a little on-edge in case any little ache and pain means more heart trouble.

I am being reasonably successful in my efforts to do very little, apart from filling the kettle and some walking, which are my limits for now.  No driving or work for another 2 weeks.

Nelly has been doing all of the hard work, driving, gardening, cooking, cleaning, etc., which I find exhausting (to watch haha).
She has been wonderful and understanding, but I am now wondering what the payback will be ;-)

I am looking forward to my iron infusion in 2 weeks, as I have been anemic since last month and it will be good to eliminate this as a reason for my breathlessness and tiredness.  I also have a heart stress echo test in 3 weeks to see if I am going to need additional stents in my other arteries.

It is good to be home.

Hi Edwin
Lovely to hear from you, glad you are taking it easy and yes it must be a worry that every twinge is heart related. Sit back and make the most of this rest time, I'm sure Nelly will get you back when you are feeling ok Very Happy
Oh how I love that big bag of black stuff, I too have infusions every 6-8 months as I can't store iron and I get very breathless when my iron is low.
Take care of yourself hope you don't need more surgery.

Very glad to hear all is going well with you, Edwin! Also glad to hear you're resting and recuperating. The forum just didn't seem right without you. Glad you're back!

Yes, as they say, payback is a b****! Lookout!  Laughing
