Thank you, Edwin. I don't really properly get it all to be honest, being a bit of a technophobe, but I understand that it's a pretty significant cyber virus, is that right?

It's not a bug on our computers, but an error in the software of what are supposed to be secure servers that could expose users details.
The problem has existed for a couple of years and has only recently been identified.
No one is really sure if any of the secure servers were actually hacked, so the general advice to change passwords is a precaution, unless there is specific advice that a website is safe.
