Venous sampling
Venous sampling with parathyroid angiography all set for 4th December. Have to have an overnight stay at the Hammersmith which I'm not over excited about but whatever it takes to get me another step closer......feels like I'm making progress but still can't allow myself to be too hopeful just in case it all points to FP deciding another surgery isn't doable.

That's great, Jasmine, not long to wait I know what you mean about being too hopeful, but nonetheless, I think FP will find a way to help you because he seems so determined. Also, goals are good in Limbo Land so now you're aiming for 4th December and results beyond that. Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for you - even my dog is crossing her paws for you!
Love and many hugs

Re: Venous sampling
Hi Jasmine,
I will be a Hammersmith on the 5th of December at 1pm for my pre op assessment, we will be in the same building at the same time!
I have confidence in FP if your operable he is your man and he is the top of his field.
Try to not get too anxious, i know its easy for me to say, but i have a good feeling about him, even though i will be just as anxious on the 15th.
All the best Jasmine and i will be thinking about you on the 4th.
Take Care

Re: Venous sampling
Good to get it all sorted well before Christmas, you should hopefully get the go ahead from FP and then be able to relax over Christmas with an appointment for the op early part of the New Year.
I know you are anxious but I'm sure FP will find a way around any problem that arises.
Really pleased for you it won't be long before you are feeling so much better.

Yipee Jasmine I am glad they nailed down a date. I called checking on why no one called on Monday only to be told the nurse won't be in till Wednesday. Good grief can they torture me anymore. Best of luck I know how important the outcome of this is for me and you. Hugs Kathi

Oh no Kathi, that's unbelievable! What is wrong with these people! Don't they realise they're messing with people's lives - and sick people at that! Thanks for your good wishes, I know how anxious you are to get this procedure over and done with too. We seem to be treading the same path at the same time Kathi; really hope you hear something positive tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you.
Brigitte, my dogs have everything crossed for me too - they have no choice as they get squished with all the hugs! They have such a calming effect on me and are guaranteed to lift my spirits! We'll be having lots of puppy cuddles too from the weekend when we collect Sam's puppy Jago and bring him home . Just lovely .......
Thanks Diana - what a shame you're not there until 1pm on the 5th! I'll be leaving after breakfast to get my train home. We could have had a real coffee together in a real cafe instead of a pretend coffee in the Limboland Cafe!
Amanda, thank you for always giving me such love and positive support, especially given all the cr*p that's being thrown your way.
Love and hugs to all.

Re: Venous sampling
Hi Jasmine,
Ohh finally glad to hear that you have a date and will be taking the next step to find the little dear. I am sorry that you have to stay overnight but it probably is wise to err on the side of caution and you may get some news before leaving on where they have located it. I do agree it is a good hike from East Acton tube so a taxi would be well deserved for the return journey!
Been a little busy here trying to get someone to go out to mum to give her a flu jab, apparently a weekly district nurse visit to dress her leg and they are unable to do it...... Bureaucracy gone mad and no-one checking at her surgery that she hadn't had it done yet.
Take care and good luck with it,
Sue x

Re: Venous sampling
GREAT news, Jasmine!! Sorry I didn't get a chance to reply to this until now. Have not had a chance to get on here for a couple of days. It is so nice to be back on! I am SO very happy for you!! Dec. 4th is not far off at all! I know when you're suffering terribly, every day seems like a year, but hopefully the time will fly by for you regardless!
Kathi, I do hope you have received that much-awaited call! I do know what it is like waiting on calls when they pertain to your health, especially when you need help NOW!
