Surgery next week
Hi
I'm ashamed to say that I haven't kept up to date with everyone's progress / non progress. I`m struggling to get through all what's expected of me at work / home / moving house and kids etc. Exhausted at night yet then not able to sleep and many other symptoms. I`m due to have an bilateral neck exploration next Thursday at Aintree University Hospital and so hope to get back on track, if anything is found. Last scan showed an area on the right side inclusive of a tumour. Had bloods taken on Tuesday so not got results yet.
I will have some recovery time after op (from work) so hoping to be feeling more myself and be able to focus on where everyone else is at.
The sun is shining here for now so might get 10 mins in it.
Mel x

Re: Surgery next week
Great news, Mel - sorry to hear you've had so much to contend with up till now and are so tired, but so glad to hear that your surgery is next week!!!
Take your time afterwards to get yourself back together and let us know how it goes.
Just so pleased for you!
Love from Tigerlily xx

Re: Surgery next week
Thank you for the kind wishes. The culprit was removed from my lower left area. Since the op I haven't had any palpitation (which were terrible weeks leading up to the op) bone and muscle pain have so far stopped and the acid reflux has gone. I know its early days but I feel a lot better in myself.
I came home Friday after a calcium blood test of around 2.40 ish, dont know about PTH results but i know I am starting to feel back to my old self. Just going to have a nap, I will update as I find out more.
Thank you for all your support and knowledge shared x
