Surgery date at Hammersmith.
Hi everyone,
I received a email today (late afternoon) informing me i have been booked in for surgery at Hammersmith Hospital, Surgeon FP on the 15/12/2014 sent by FP's secretary.
I can hardly believe it, i keep looking at the email to confirm it to myself!
Firstly i would like to thank everyone on this forum, i have found your advice and guidance has given me strength through some dark down times and i am so glad this forum is here, every one offers advice, their experiences with no judgement.
Thank you all and i will keep you informed on my progress
Take care everyone

It's really given me a boost to hear your good news, a real pick-me-up....... sorry I haven't been posting much lately, bit down in the dumps and lacking motivation but I am reading everything and keeping up, and I just had to come on and say how happy I am for you. Wooooo! Yay!!! That is great news.
Maybe if you're on the list you might even get an earlier cancellation date?!
Wishing you good health in the run up and even better health afterwards.
Lots of love,
Dee

Diana I am so happy to hear this, as I am concerned about you high calcium levels. So FP is going to get the adenoma out of your chest with a neck incision, I think you mentioned this in a different post. Anyway good news indeed.

Re: Surgery date at Hammersmith.
Hi ladies,
Thank you all so much, yes now i feel relieved and i finally have a date for surgery.
When i look over the past few years, it has been a real battle, slowed down somewhat by the pesky adenoma being in my chest.
Good luck everyone with your individual battles with the medical profession, and those who are waiting for surgery or are recovering from surgery, as for myself i am going to get Christmas sorted before i go in, so i will not have to do it after.
Tigerlilly i hope you get some good news soon.
Take care everyone

Thanks, Jasmine and Diana - hoping to get the call soon.
Sorry to hear you're feeling low, Jasmine. Have you heard anything about your recent scan from FP?
Diana - you'll be preparing for Christmas with renewed vigour, I'm sure! You go girl!
Love from Tigerlily xxxxx

Re: Surgery date at Hammersmith.
Haven't heard anything yet, hope to hear this week. I'm not seriously 'low' just sick and tired of feeling sick and tired (apologies for churning that old chestnut out again .....) and I've had far too much coffee sitting around in the Limboland Cafe! Fingers crossed I'll hear something soon. Diana's news gave me a lift though, and it won't be long before you get 'the call' Tigerlily, I'm certain of it.

Re: Surgery date at Hammersmith.
Bless you Jasmine - yes, Diana saw FP the day before I did, so I'm hoping that's a sign that I might hear something soon.
FP has been away, I believe - only back on Monday - so Diana hearing so soon after his return might indicate he's working through his tray as we speak, so we both could hear something soon.
Love that - too much coffee in the Limboland Café!
Get back to the herb tea for the moment, girl, and save yourself for the rare old time we shall be having at The Ritz!

Re: Surgery date at Hammersmith.
Well, Jasmine, you know as long as you're sipping coffee at the Limboland Cafe, we're all more than happy to sit a spell and enjoy some with you! In my case, even though the parathyroid issue is supposedly taken care of, I feel I will still be frequenting the establishment quite often anyway. Keep the coffee warm!
I do hope you soon get some answers, and we can celebrate YOUR good news too!! I know it's coming soon! Stay strong!
